The Chain

I write fiction as Frank Able. The Chain is the first novel: a tech thriller about code, coercion, and the ledger that remembers everything.

For most of my career I have built payment platforms, distributed systems, and infrastructure for regulated industries. The book grew out of the same questions those systems raise: what happens when incentives, trust, and power get encoded into software no one fully controls?

The story is set in 2018. The characters and events are invented; the technology and pressures around them were already in the world.
